I’m truly honored and humbled to be recognized last evening with the **Community Award** by the Georgia Life Sciences Golden Helix Awards Selection Committee. Being acknowledged alongside such distinguished colleagues inspires me more than words can express. Thank you for celebrating my commitment to community engagement and innovation it’s a privilege to contribute to Georgia’s vibrant life sciences ecosystem.

Additionally, yesterday's Georgia Life Sciences Summit was nothing short of invigorating. The panel discussion. “Co-Designing the Future: Patient Voices in R&D and Clinical Trials” was genuinely enlightening. Hearing leaders across biotech, patient advocacy, and clinical development discuss the critical role of integrating patient perspectives into research underscored how collaboration and empathy are reshaping our industry.

Moments like these where community, innovation, and inclusivity converge are why I remain deeply committed to this work. Thank you to Georgia Life Sciences for convening such a dynamic gathering, and to everyone who continues building the foundation for a more equitable, patient-centered future.
